Mumbai: It was just recently that Ajay Devgn escaped a near-fatal accident while filming a car sequence. And now, he beat a bad bout of hypothermia while shooting for a sequence at Bulgaria’s highest peak, in extreme cold conditions.

As it so happened, Vihren Peak in the Pirin Mountains of Bansko, witnessed heavy sownfall the previous night, causing the temperature to drop to minus 19 degrees Celsius.  While the unit was bundled in layers of woolens, Ajay was shooting in just a T-shirt and a jacket.

Ajay Devgn shoots for his upcoming film 'Shivaay'.

Unfortunately, by the end of the take, a doctor from a mountain almost two ski lifts away was called. Ajay was advised minimum two days rest, but being a thorough professional that he is, he resumed shooting within 30 minutes.

Ajay posted the video and wrote, "When the going gets tough, tough get going! Heartfelt thanks to fantastic TeamShivaay for an Extreme Bulgaria"
