Mumbai: Ever since Kangana Ranaut addressed the issue of nepotism on Karan Johar’s chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’, the word has become a trending topic and widely asked question in Bollywood.

While the entire film industry was being scrutinized over nepotism, Karan Johar was still targeting Kangana as he tried to dodge the questions on the scandalized topic. Just when everyone thought the story was long ended, three celebrities ignited the fire yet again.

At a recently held award show, Karan Johar along with his co-host Saif Ali Khan, took a dig at Kangana, who wasn’t even present there.

However, this did not go well with a certain sect of audiences and the trio faced severe storm of criticism on Twitter for joking about it in Kangana’s absence.

While Saif and Karan are still keeping their mum on the incident, Varun Dhawan took to his Twitter account to apologize to everyone for his act.

In New York, Karan, (son of producer Yash Johar) was hosting along side Saif Ali Khan (son of actress Sharmila Tagore) when Varun Dhawan (son of director David Dhawan) joined them on the stage to take his award for Best Actor in a Comic Role for his film ‘Dishoom’.

As Varun walked up to the stage, Saif said, “You are here because of your Papa,” to which former said, “And you’re here because of your mummy.”

Quickly Karan Johar jumped in the conversation saying, “I am here because of my Papa.”

Then the gang chanted “Nepotism rocks” in unison.

But the three didn't stop just there as Saif and Varun then sang "Bole chudiyaan” from Johar’s film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.."

But Karan quickly added, "Kangana nahi bole toh achha hai (It’s good you didn’t say Kangana)."

Well, but we guess an apology on Twitter changes the scenario now, right?
