A chain of policemen could be seen on both sides of the roads leading from Secunderabad all the way up to Jubilee Hills during the morning hours on Saturday. They were trying to ensure the timely arrival of the Brahmāstra team for a press conference in Hyderabad. Among the team were Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Nagarjuna, SS Rajamouli, Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji.
Alia and Ranbir both greeted the audience in Telugu, saying, “Andariki namaskaram [Hello, everyone]”. Alia even went a step further and added, “Ela unnaru [How are you]?” The audience happily hooted back, saying, “Baagunnam.”
The event also witnessed some sentimental moments as Ranbir went down to touch both Nagarjuna and SS Rajamouli’s feet in reverence when he stepped on to the stage. At the event, then Nagarjuna applauded Ranbir, calling him an amazing listener who made others feel important by how he treats them. In turn, Ranbir pointed out to how easily Nagarjuna could become anyone’s best friend.

Brahmāstra, the next big thing?
At the event, Alia glowed in a purple pencil skirt paired with a loose-fitting shimmery jacket and nude pencil heels. Adding to some light moments at the event, she could be heard saying that even as she was flaunting her outfit, which was very unlike what she wears on the sets of Brahmāstra, Nagarjuna couldn’t recognise her after she got ready for the press conference.

While speaking at the event, Nagarjuna went on to predict that the film will be the “Bahubali” of the north, creating a big buzz and crossing the revenue of Spider-Man: No Way Home in the south. But just as Nagarjuna was speaking about Brahmāstra, the audience could be heard talking over him and none other than the Bahubali-maker, SS Rajamouli, rebuked the audience for its impudence.
