The 42-year-old actress, also known by her pen name ‘Mrs Funnybones’, said she is not sure of her script writing skills but can surely provide a plot. “I have a story idea in mind for movie. I don't know if I can right a script. But I can right a story and someone can convert it into a script,” Twinkle said. “My ambition to become Chetan Bhagat is burning inside,” she added jokingly on the sidelines of Spring Fever 2016.

Last year, she released her first book as an author titled ‘Mrs Funnybones’. Asked if people perceive her differently after she made a shift into writing, the former actress said unfortunately yes. “As a writer, I suddenly see a lot of respect given to me. But I feel people of entertainment industry should also be given equal respect. “It may look like a easy job, I still find it extremely scary. Sitting in my room and writing is liberating for me and being out there is tough.”
