Vikram Vedha remake eyes A-list actors
Manoj had earlier written the lyrics for Neeraj’s Aiyyary as well.
Manoj Muntashir, the lyricist and dialogue writer of Baahubali (Hindi version), is now writing the Hindi dialogues of the film Vikram Vedha for Neeraj Pandey. Manoj had earlier written the lyrics for Neeraj’s Aiyyary as well. “The Hindi remake will be directed by the husband-wife duo of Gayatri and Pushkar, and Manoj has been hired to do the dialogues after his dialogues in Baahubali have been appreciated.
The film will be pitched to A-list actors after the dialogue draft is complete,” inform a source. The Tamil film Vikram Vedha, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Madhavan is a contemporary take on the Vikram Betaal mythology and was a runaway hit. Initially, it was being rumoured that Shah Rukh Khan had taken over the rights of the film and was to remake it with Madhavan and himself.
In a social media interaction of #AskSRK, the heroine of the Tamil film Shraddha Srinath even asked Khan who he plans to cast as the female lead. But Khan gave a pass to the question as well as the film. With Neeraj Pandey’s Plan C Studios and Reliance Entertainment backing the film now, it won’t be long before Neeraj begins his casting on the remake.
