When Utkarsh Sharma hurt Salman Khan's nose
It's been 17 years since Gadar was released and it felt great to face the camera again, says Utkarsh Sharma.
Though debutant Utkarsh Sharma is all set to make his debut with Genius, directed by dad, Anil Sharma, the talented youngster isn’t a complete rookie when it comes to films. Prior to this, he had essayed the role of Charanjeet in the film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. Talking about facing the camera once again, Utkarsh says, “It’s been 17 years since Gadar was released and it felt great to face the camera again.”
The actor also worked as an assistant on the film Veer where he hurt Salman Khan’s nose. Reminiscing about those days, he says, “I had to go to Salman’s van and inform him that the shot was ready. I would feel nervous talking to him. But Salman was different off the sets and a completely different person in front of the camera. When shooting, he becomes a director’s actor.” The young actor recalls a funny accident. “Since I was a huge fan of Salman, I would be nervous around him. Once, while using the clap, I hurt his nose. He would make fun of my clumsiness, but would take care of me when I was unwell,” reveals the actor.
