I'll do 3-4 films before Krrish 4, says Hrithik Roshan
Dad Rakesh Roshan adds that he got the idea for the movie after seeing a Ganesh idol dressed as Krrish.
Hrithik Roshan seems to have already put the debacle of his latest release, Mohenjo Daro, behind him. The actor is all set to work in a slew of films — at least two to three new projects — including his father’s Krrish instalment.
While Hrithik is said to have opted out of Adi Chopra-Vijay Krishna Acharya’s Thugs of Hindostan, citing “practical modalities” not working out, he will soon be signing a number of new films.
Hrithik says, “I’ve almost completed Kaabil, my home production that’s been directed by Sanjay Gupta. We shot the film in 50 days, and we have only two more weeks of shooting left. That’s my quickest film till date.”
The actor, who is known to working only in one film per year, plans to multiply his workload by cutting down on the number of days he allots to one movie. “Krrish 4 with my dad (Rakesh Roshan) is in the planning stages and should see the light of the day by the end of 2018. Hopefully, I’ll do three to four films before that,” says Hrithik.
While the actor refuses to comment on the number of scripts he is going through presently, the number, according to sources close to him, is said to be staggering.
“Duggu has almost 25 to 30 scripts by his bedside. He’s going through each one and is marking the ones he may do,” says a friend.
Rakesh too has confirmed that Krrish 4 is on the anvil. “Yes, the idea of Krissh 4 came to me when I saw a Ganesh idol during Ganesh Chaturthi sporting the Krrish look. I already have an idea for the movie. I’m now pitching it to my team of writers,” he says.
