The ‘mask’ of Radhe Shyam
Other iconic movies and dialogues are being used to spread awareness
Police handles on Twitter across the country have been using film posters and famous scenes from Indian films to create awareness about the usage of masks.
While the Mumbai police used the iconic “Main Teja hoon, mark idhar hai,” scene with Paresh Rawal who plays a double role in the Bollywood film Andaz Apna Apna to put out a meme promoting masks by changing mark to mask, the Nagaon Police in Assam have used several visuals from the Bollywood film Sholay to the Kollywood film Theri to the Tollywood film Radhe Shyam in their memes to promote the mask.
The Radhe Shyam poster has Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in a romantic close up. Incidentally the film was being shot in Georgia in Europe and the cast and crew of the film wrapped the shooting in the mountain nation and returned safely during the lockdown. The film is very much a romantic film at heart between Radhe Shyam and Prerna played by Prabhas and Pooja.
The buzz is that there are no fight scenes in the film as well in a complete departure from the recent image that Prabhas has built for himself with films like the Baahubali series and Saaho.
Radhe Shyam will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam.
