Dabangg 3 a two-heroine project, to star one more heroine alongside Sonakshi

Mumbai: Sonakshi Sinha made her Bollywood debut with ‘Dabangg,’ which earned her immediate recognition and several awards. She was also the leading lady for ‘Dabangg 2’.

However, earlier this year, rumours went afloat that she had been dropped from the hit franchise over alleged friction with Salman Khan, which started when Sonakshi turned down director Arbaaz Khan’s production Dolly Ki Doli. Rumours of Parineeti Chopra replacing Sonakshi for the role of Rajjo in Dabangg 3 took the industry by storm.

Earlier, in an interview with us Sonakshi said, “That is a question that only Arbaaz Khan can answer. I don’t think the script is in place. These people are still working on it. When it happens, it will happen.”

In a recent promotional event, we got our hands on Arbaaz Khan where he spilled the beans over the female lead in Dabangg 3. He said, “We have just locked an idea and now we will start working on it and mid next year we are going on floors. Also, Sonakshi will be a part of the film. We will have a second heroine but who is that depends upon the script. Once the script will be in place, we will see that how much my love interest is required in the film and then we will consider Mahi Gill.”
