Hope they don't leave me and go away: Sanjay on Priyanka-Deepika's Hollywood ventures
While Priyanka bagged a meaty role in 'Baywatch', Deepika is shooting for her Hollywood debut 'xXx: Xander Cage'.
Dubai: Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is all praise for his leading ladies from 'Bajirao Mastani' Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, who are making the right noise internationally with their work.
While Priyanka has been earning accolades for her maiden American show 'Quantico' since its release last year and bagging a meaty role in big screen reboot of 'Baywatch', Deepika is shooting for her Hollywood debut 'xXx: Xander Cage' with Vin Diesel.
"It feels wonderful to see them succeed there. Deepika has gone Hollywood, she is doing a film with Vin Diesel so it feels great and Priyanka's doing Baywatch so I hope these girls come back. I hope they don't leave me and go away," Bhansali told PTI.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period love saga 'Bajirao Mastani' managed to sweep several top awards- including the best director prize and best actor honour. The film which released with Rohit Shetty's 'Dilwale' outperformed the film at the Box office.
Meanwhile, there have been reports that the director-producer has cast Deepika and actor Ranveer Singh for his next film. Laughing off the rumours, Bhansali said here, "I have no clue what I am doing next so where have you heard these
reports from? I would like to work with them they are my favourites. They are absolutely great but I am not sure if I will be working with them... It depends up on what I am making next."
