Exclusive: Salman Khan's body double gets injured on the sets of Tiger Zinda Hai
The incident apparently brought the mood of the entire crew down, especially Salman, so much so, that he halted the shoot for a day.
While Salman Khan’s fans eagerly await his two releases, Tubelight and Tiger Zinda Hai, the actor has been keeping himself really busy. After coming back from a 22-days schedule for TZH from Austria, the actor got busy rehearsing for his recently concluded Da Bangg Tour in Hong Kong.
But Austria has some tales to tell, or so, says our sources. “The schedule in Austria for the entire crew was for almost 22 days. However, Salman and Katrina Kaif joined us for about 18 days,” reveals the source on condition of anonymity.
To dispel any speculation, the source informs that Salman and Katrina stayed in separate hotels, which was almost 12 kilometres away from each other. “Katrina stayed in a hotel called the Imperial Palace while Salman was in Haafana Grand. And through the entire schedule, Salman and Katrina were quite respectful to each other,” says the source.
However, while shooting a road sequence, Salman’s body double Ivan Strutt fractured his ribs. Subsequently, Ivan had to be admitted to a hospital. It was a six-days major road sequence. Although the final shoot was “okayed”, the shoot left his body double badly injured. The incident apparently brought the mood of the entire crew down, especially Salman, so much so, that he halted the shoot for a day.
