Saif made volte-face over Sara's debut after she discussed it with him?

Saif Ali Khan seemed to have gotten an earful from at least four women in his house after he told a newspaper that he was a bit scared about Sara Ali Khan’s film debut. Saif had also stated that as a parent, he never wanted his daughter to enter Bollywood. All this even though he has four established actresses in the family — Sharmila Tagore, Amrita Singh, Kareena Kapoor and Soha Ali Khan, who outnumber the two male actors, Kunal and Saif himself.

Now, when asked about her debut, he says, “I am happy that Sara is doing something that she is very passionate about. She is a well-educated, bright girl with a mind of her own. She knows what is right and wrong and she can take a call on that.”

We hear the complete volte-face from the Nawab of Pataudi was because Sara told her father that her decision was all hers, and she also had the support of her mother, Amrita Singh.

Well, as a parent the concern is understandable. But Sara seems to be a girl with her head firmly on her shoulders. And we think now Saif agrees, too.
