Ekta Kapoor completes love story trilogy with Laila Majnu

Ekta Kapoor in joint association with Imtiaz Ali recently announced her upcoming film Laila Majnu which is an adaptation to the classic fable of the star-crossed lovers Laila and Majnu. The film stars newbies Avinash Tiwary and Tripti Dimri in the lead roles.

Laila Majnu is Ekta's third love story after the critically acclaimed Lootera and Ek Villan which was a Box office superhit.

Her last release ‘Veere Di Wedding’ too created a roar at the Box Office, which is why people have huge expectations from Laila Majnu too.

After conquering TV and also the big screen to an extent, the content czarina has also ventured into the digital space, thus being the first to successfully being able to do that in the Indian market.
