Salman’s one-liners
The actor has signed his last few films based on only one-line narrations, causing the quality to drop.
With a slew of flops in recent times, one can’t help but wonder why Salman Khan hasn’t been at his best lately. But the fact is that Salman has been so busy with a lot of projects back-to-back, that he has missed out entirely on quality checking his projects. Four films that the actor has signed in recent times have been okayed after the actor just listened to what is called a ‘one-line idea’ in Bollywood parlance.
“Race 3, Radhe, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and Abhiraj Minawala’s next film with Aayush Sharma were all one-liners Salman heard before signing the film,” a trade source reveals.
Normally, actors prefer a bound script to read, a full narration of the subject, then they put forth their queries and apprehensions before signing on the film. “It is not that if they hear the subject, it is going to be made in the same manner as was narrated. Films often don’t turn out how it is narrated because there are many changes in the script mid-way. But in ideal conditions, these films often end up being better products once everyone is on the same page,” adds our source.
