Exclusive: Katrina's refusal to promote Jagga Jasoos with Ranbir causing delay?
This is not the first time that Basu has had trouble with his leading lady with regard to promotions.
Lady luck doesn’t seem to favour Anurag Basu. His film Jagga Jasoos featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif has been on the back burner for a while now and after much delay, was scheduled to release on April 7. That date too, now seems to be jinxed as he is having trouble convincing his leading lady Katrina to promote the film. Says a source, “Katrina doesn’t want to promote the film with her ex-boyfriend Ranbir. The disagreement is causing much delay.”
This is not the first time that Basu has had trouble with his leading lady with regard to promotions. In 2012, Anurag had a tough time with Priyanka Chopra during the promotions for Barfi. It apparently started when Priyanka moved to the West to launch her single In My City and wasn’t available for the movie promotions in India. In fact, due to her date issues, Anurag had to build a set of Darjeeling in Film City, Mumbai.
