Diana Penty feels she is now part of the industry
The actress reveals newcomers are also often bombarded with advice.
Actress Diana Penty, last seen in Happy Phirr Bhaag Jayegi, who hails from a non-industry background, confessed initially it took her time but now she feels like she is part of the industry.
Diana says, “It is important to know where you are headed and what your next step should be. So, yes that stress is normal for any actor. In the beginning it took me a while to figure out what direction should I take, and that’s probably why I took this long to take up my second film,” she says adding, “I was new to the industry and a complete outsider. Now, I feel I am part of the industry but then it was so new for me that I didn’t have anyone to guide me. So I had to figure out things on my own. It took a while for that.”
The actress reveals newcomers are also often bombarded with advice.
“You hear advice from everybody and it is all contradictory. It is about realising yourself. You have to be sorted in your head as an actor,” says the Parmanu actress.
Talking about the digital space she observes, “Digital is the future, the change has begun and quality work happening there. I am in love with this space but as an actress I would get into it only if something interesting comes my way.”
