Mumbai: Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis starrer film ‘Banjo’ is all set to hit the theatres on September 23, 2016. The film is about the banjo players from Maharashtra and how this art has been neglected despite numerous youngsters involved in it.

It revolves around Nargis, who plays the role of a girl born and brought up abroad and visits India for a purpose.

With the film 'Banjo', filmmaker Ravi Jadhav has ventured in Hindi films. The filmmaker had intended to make this film two years ago even before he directed 'Balak Palak' and 'Timepass', however it was only now that things fell into place.

Interestingly, this is the second film of Riteish along with Nargis post ‘Housefull 3’.
