Have Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande called it quits after six years?

Mumbai: The years 2016 keeps proving that it indeed is the season of heartbreaks and break-ups. If reports are anywhere to be true, one of the most loved off-screen couple Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande have called it quits after dating for around six years.

From quite some time, we have been hearing reports about their personal differences and on-going tiff in their relationship, which everyone assumed to be just another lovers’ quarrel.

The two started dating soon after they met on the sets of ‘Pavitra Rishta’ in 2009. There were also reports of the two being secretly married. However, Sushant put the rumours to rest by saying that he’ll tie the knot with Ankita by the year (2016) end.

Sushant and Ankita were a perfect example of love, started drifting apart soon after Sushant’s career shot to fame. Reportedly, the stardom and constant attention became too much for the two and their relationship.

Reports further reveal that Ankita, who we saw walking hand-in-hand with Sushant Singh only recently, sat down with her beau earlier this week to sort their relationship out and the two decided it was better to part ways.

While many claim that the slip happened because of another woman in the picture, Sushant and Ankit have subtly reacted on their break-up reports.

Sushant posted a picture of himself on Twitter with caption; “Alone in the crowd..!! Where are you ..?” Ankita quickly replied to the picture by tweeting, “Don't feel alone I m always there in ur heart ,in ur life â¤ï¸@itsSSR.”
