Exclusive: Husband Daniel Weber clarifies that Sunny Leone didn't slap any reporter
Reportedly, Sunny slapped a reporter in a fit of rage after he questioned her about her night programmes' rate.
Mumbai: As per reports, Bollywood’s ‘Baby Doll’ Sunny Leone, who is usually calm and cordial with people around her, especially the media, slapped a man recently after being asked a weird question.
The actress was in Gujarat for a performance when the reported incident took place. Sunny was to perform on stage during ‘Play Holi with Sunny Leone’ show when the actress slapped a reporter in a fit of rage after he questioned her about her ‘night programme’ rates.
According to a report in mid-day, the incident took place on Thursday morning when the actress reached her hotel with husband Daniel Weber. Upon stepping inside her room, Sunny’s privacy was soon intruded by a drunken stranger. Not letting things go out of hand, Sunny took the exit door and started walking towards the main corridor where she was stopped by a national channel reporter.
The reporter quickly shot a few questions at Sunny, who was baffled by the incident. Few questions in, the reporter asked Sunny, “Earlier you were a porn star and now you are working in Bollywood films, so how much do you charge now?”
Shocked, Sunny asked the reporter to repeat his question and he went ahead and asked, “How much do you charge for a night program?” Without wasting a second, Sunny slapped the reporter in front of the hotel staff and visitors and stormed back into her room.
The organisers feared they’d have to call off the event since the actress wouldn’t want to go on with the show after this incident. But Sunny was professional and danced for the crowd for 15 minutes as committed.
However, Sunny Leone’s husband Daniel Weber has completely denied this incident.
When DC contacted Daniel, he denied that any such slap incident took place. He clarified, “No such incident happened. The organizers of the event in Surat are holding a press conference to clarify that these rumours spread by some individual are completely untrue.”
