Don't sign any brand endorsement till debut: Karan Johar, Amrita Singh tell Sara
Playing the waiting game, the actress will sign brand deals only after her movie releases.
Even as she readies herself for her Bollywood debut, Sara Ali Khan has been approached to be a face of a brand. However, on the advice of her mother Amrita Singh, and new mentor Karan Johar, Sara has politely declined the offer. Sara, who will be seen in Karan’s Simmba — and perhaps even in Kedarnath if all goes well with it — has been told not to sign any brand endorsements, till her films are out.
Says a source, “It is obvious that her brand value will increase manifold once she stars opposite someone like Ranveer Singh in a Rohit Shetty film. Add to that if Kedarnath also releases, which could be around the same time as Simmba, Sara will see her brand value go up. With well-meaning people like Amrita and Karan around her, giving her valuable inputs, she’s steering clear of signing any endorsement deals right now.”
