Ayushmann Khurrana and Lata Mangeshkar praise each other
Ayushmann posted the original soundtrack album-cover of Jurmana and an heart icon with the song title Saawan ke jhoole pade.
Ayushmann Khurrana has grown so much as an actor that we tend to forget he is an adept singer. And as a singer he responds to great singing like a true connosieur.
This week he posted an Instagram message on one of the Singing Goddess’ most beautiful songs Saawan ke jhoole pade from the 1979 Amitabh Bachchan starrer Jurmana. The song is composed by R.D. Burman.
Ayushmann posted the original soundtrack album-cover of Jurmana and an heart icon with the song title Saawan ke jhoole pade. “From her incredible repertoire of songs I think Sawan ke jhoole pade is one of her finest,” says Ayushmann.
Lataji has no recollection of this exquisite number. But she is appreciative of Ayushmann’s praise. “I know he is a very good actor and an equally good singer, so his appreciation comes from a genuine understanding of music. I wish him well. And he must pursue singing as ardently as acting,” says Lataji.
