Mumbai: Rani Mukerji's latest film 'Hichki' showed a good trend over the weekend as it grossed a good number of Rs 15.35 crore. The collections are nothing much but for these films its about staying in the race over the weekend. YRFs productions' 'Hichki' is a great example of the fact that good script packed with equally good performances will definitely find takers without a 'hero' in the film.

Noted trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared approximate weekend box office collection on his Twitter. He wrote, “#Hichki finds appreciation from audience and applause from critics... Goes from strength to strength with each passing day... Will have to stay stronger over weekdays now... Fri 3.30 cr, Sat 5.35 cr, Sun 6.70 cr. Total: ₹ 15.35 cr [961 screens]. India biz."

In Siddharth P Malhotra directed 'Hichki', Rani Mukerji's character Naina faces discrimination from a society that firmly believes she cannot be a teacher because of her Tourette Syndrome. The film tells Naina's story about turning disadvantages into opportunities and fearlessly facing life challenges.

Next weekend will see release of Tiger Shroff-Disha Patani starrer 'Baaghi 2'.
