Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey have had three successful collaborations so far —Special 26, Baby and Rustom. A few months ago, Akshay announced his next film, Crack, with Neeraj Pandey. The film was supposed to release on Independence Day 2017 and the actor also shared the poster of the movie. However, it looks like the film has hit a roadblock.

There were several rumours of the film being postponed, but now we hear that the film has been shelved.

A close source says, “The film is no more in the making due to some unknown internal differences.” We contacted Neeraj Pandey but he didn’t respond to our calls or messages. We also contacted the film’s spokesperson, who hadn’t commented till the time of going to press.

The film was to clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s untitled film with Imtiaz Ali, but from the looks of it, SRK will have a solo release.
