According to a report in peepingmoon.com, the film is tentatively titled HanuMan and it is said to be a big live-action movie which will be made on a huge scale.
“Hanuman is a larger-than-life mythology character. The makers are actually re-inventing the morals he stands for, without delving into ancient concepts. Having said that they won’t be questioning the legend of Hanuman, they will present him reverentially,” a source close to development revealed to the website.
Punjabi filmmaker Anurag Singh, who is currently working on Akshay Kumar-Parineeti Chopra starrer 'Kesari', will helm this mega project.
The source mentioned, “It will be made on a huge scale. The VFX team has already been locked and the pre-production will also begin in next few months. It will go on floors in mid-2019.”
“The team at Junglee Pictures has been developing this story with Anurag Singh for last two years. It all began with his one-line idea to bring in a superhero story that’s rooted in Indian mythology. They have now completed the script and are currently in talks with actors for the leading role. They are hoping to announce the film as well as its cast within the next six months,” a source further added.
