Mumbai: A few months ago, the ever-so-energetic Ranveer Singh had replaced the superstar Salman Khan as the brand ambassador of a leading soft drink brand.

The actor was taken on board considering his popularity post the success of his film ‘Bajirao Mastani’ (2015).

However, according to a leading tabloid, in the six months tenure of his as the brand ambassador, the actor managed to shoot only one advertisement for the product citing date issues.

Ranveer is entirely engrossed and occupied with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmavati’ with Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor, due to which he was unable to devote time to the cola brand.

A source reveals that Ranveer Singh also interferes in the creative space and has requested the cola drink owners to up their ante. This hasn't gone down well with the brand. Rumours are rife that the actor may no longer endorse the product, considering his contract expires soon.

Apparently, the brand’s management are looking out for a young face with a big star value. Their options include Ranbir Kapoor and Varun Dhawan.
