Mumbai: Her rise in the movies as one of the best female actors of this generation and her sartorial fashion choices has made her a ramp favourite and Kangana Ranaut says as an aspiring actor she always had a vision that one day she will make it to the runway as a showstopper.

The 31-year-old actor, who played the role of a supermodel in Madhur Bhandarkar's critically-acclaimed film "Fashion", said as a kid the idea of walking the ramp always fascinated her and she used to practice it in front of the mirror.

"When I was young, I didn't had any guarantee that I will make it big in the entertainment industry. But I hoped that I will get accepted. I used to rehearse in the night. I was a science student and had the habit of working really hard.

"I used to wake up in the night nervous and stand in front of the mirror and impersonate the walk which I would see on Fashion TV. So, I remember working very hard and hoping that I will make it someday," Kangana told reporters on the sidelines of Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2018.

The "Rangoon" actor walked the ramp for designers Pankaj and Nidhi in the show presented by Nokia.

Kangana is currently excited about her next mega project 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi'. The film is set to release on January 25, 2019.
