After Abhishek backs out of JP Dutta's Paltan, Big B asks RGV to help his career?
On Big B's request, RGV is reportedly looking for a solo script for Abhishek Bachchan, in the quest for a hit.
Even as Abhishek Bachchan is being unceremoniously dropped out of mentor J.P Dutta’s mutli-starrer movie Paltan at the eleventh hour, Big B has come to his rescue. Word is that Amitabh Bachchan met with one of his favourite directors, Ram Gopal Varma, with a proposal to make a hard-hitting solo film with Abhi.
Junior Bachchan definitely needs a solo hit to get back in the Bollywood fray, and Ramu, who was to make a movie called Arrest with the actor a while ago, hasn’t moved much in the direction. The slowing down of the pace could be attributed to Ramu’s plans in the South.
“Even while Sarkar 3 didn’t do well, Amitabh really believes in Ramu. He knows that the right kind of film can always change Abhishek’s career, because his son is a very talented actor. He hasn’t gotten the big star status because the films that he has chosen to work in haven’t performed well at the box office. Everyone knows that one good hit and Abhishek will be back. Ramuji is now identifying the right script for Abhishek,” says a source form the RGV camp.
