Sidharth Malhotra shockingly turns down Salman Khan's Race 3
Incidentally, Sid, has shown no aversion to multi-starrers, having starred alongside Akshay Kumar in 'Brothers'.
Mumbai: Sidharth Malhotra's films have been doing anything from well at the box-office and the actor seems to have decided to buck his shows up and get a hold on his career.
His last two releases, 'Baar Baar Dekho' and 'A Gentleman' have both been box-office duds. With Neeraj Pandey's 'Aiyaari,' the actor is hoping to bounce back, but he's also grown wary of his choices.
Sid, has shown no aversion to multi-starrers, having debuted in one and having featured alongside Akshay Kumar in 'Brothers'.
However, when Remo D'Souza's 'Race 3,' headlining none other than Salman Khan came knocking on his doors, the actor seems to have grown apprehensive and chose to give it a miss.
While the first two instalments, helmed by Abbas-Mastan, starred Saif Ali Khan in the lead, part three has had a major renovation, with most actors from the prrevious films being shown the door along with the director duo.
The film is also said to feature Jacqueline Fernandez, Sid's rumoured current flame.
She had also starred opposite him in 'A Gentleman,' and it is being speculated that her involvement in the film might also have something to do with Sid's exit.
Here's hoping this wouldn't turn out to be a decision the young star would come to rue.
