Arijit Singh lashes out at Wajah Tum Ho' music composer, accuses him of cheating

Mumbai: The ‘Tum Hi Ho’ singer has virtually trashed music composer Abhijit Vaghani for retuning his voice to the extent that the singer could not recognise his own voice.

Arijit took to Facebook to express his anger and showed no mercy to the composer whose fresh take on the classic song ‘Pal Pal dil Ke Paas’ has gotten him furious.  Singh had lent his voice to the new version of the song which is part of Rajneesh Duggal-Sana Khan- Sharman Joshi starrer ‘Wajah Tum Ho’.

He wrote: "I do not understand why people act smart for no reason. Abhijit Vaghani you did not have to tune my voice to this extent. I am so ashamed of this rendition and I so love the original. Good luck with your music bro but honestly your sense of tuning and ruining the classic tune is a classic one... Thank you for making me hear the worst song master ever, thank you for retuning my voice so much that I don't even recognize.”

The Filmfare award-winner feels the ‘over tuned’ version is nothing but an insult to the original classic sung by Kishor Kumar. Had he known the song would turn out the way it has, he would have never agreed to sing it in the first place.

“You are a talented music producer but I am so done with you… Thank you really for cheating me. If I knew you will change the mix later I wouldn't have sung this. A classic insult to the original song,” wrote Arijit.

The music composer, Abhijit Vaghani has not commented on the issue yet. Tulsi Kumar and Neuman Pinto have also lent their voices to this song.
