Kamaal Rashid Khan has been slamming 'Shivaay' and Ajay Devgn on Twitter since the past few weeks.

Mumbai: Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’ had landed in controversy when he had shared an audio clip in which Kamaal Rashid Khan admits to taking money from Karan Johar to praise the film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and criticize ‘Shivaay’. And this time another controversy has got attached to 'Shivaay', and again it is because of Khan.

On Thursday, Khan shared on Twitter a video of one of the opening scenes of the film as he was watching it in a theatre and revealed several other details of the plot. He subsequently deleted the tweet but the makers are extremely unhappy with his act and have decided to file a complaint against him.

“We are taking strict legal action and filing a complaint with the cyber crime in Mumbai. We have also written to all the social media platforms like Twitter, YouTube and Facebook too coz when any kind of piracy happens, we take stringent action including criminal action, ” Shibasish Sarkar, COO, Reliance Entertainment, told Bollywood Life.

He added, “We have taken all the video screenshots, so there is proof that he has been videotaping from inside the hall. We have traced the hall in Dubai also and we have started to take action against the theatre owners also and we have asked them how someone is taking video from inside the hall. We have proof that he had started pirating the film from inside the hall.”

‘Shivaay’ is gearing up for release on Friday, but according to Sarkar, in the Middle East the film releases a day prior, and that was the reason Khan could watch it in a theatre.

It is not the first time that Khan has landed in trouble for his controversial tweets. Previously, filmmaker Vikram Bhatt had also sent a defamation notice against him for his statements.
