The actress is now on the cover of a French textbook that teaches high school students English.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her French connection continues. Over the years, the former Miss World and Bollywood actress has become a regular face at the French Riviera during the Cannes Film Festival. She has also been awarded the second-highest civilian honour of France – The Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters. Moreover, three years ago, she even met up with the then French President Francois Hollande during the Republic Day event in New Delhi.
The latest development is that the actress is now featured on the cover of the 2019 edition of the Fireworks Workbook, a French textbook that is used to teach English to French high school students through world history and popular culture, named Anglais 1re Fireworks: Manuel éléve Broché.
“There is the Taj Mahal too and she shares space with the Taj in the book, which also has eight other images from around the world,” says a source.
