Watch: Nawazuddin is back at it with Haraamkhor, trailer impresses massively
The actor will be seen alongside Shweta Tripathi in the much delayed Shlok Sharma directorial.
Mumbai: Nawazuddin Siddiqui had a great 2016 career-wise, with all three of his releases, 'Raman Raghav 2.0,' 'Te3n' and 'Freaky Ali,' all fetching him immense critical acclaim.
The actor, who'll soon be seen locking horns with Shah Rukh Khan in Rahul Dholakia's 'Raees,' is now back with the trailer of his highly anticipated and tragically delayed 'Haraamkhor'.
The trailer, as has been widely spoken about in relation to the film itself, is zany, earthy and delectably real, as is expected from a Nawaz starrer.
'Haraamkhor,' helmed by Shlok Sharma, deals with the unwonted romantic relationship between a teacher and his beautiful.
The film had been marred by severe controversy, thanks to the CBFC refusing to pass it, owing to the sensitive subject. The film had been accused of propagating unethical romantic liaisons and also showing the Indian educational system in poor light.
However, creative liberty finally prevailed post widespread backlash, and the film, which made waves at the festival circuit, even fetching Nawaz a best actor award, will finally be available on the big-screen, on January 13, 2017, releasing alongside Shaad Ali's 'OK Jaanu'.
Well with a crackerjack of a performer as him spearheading a subject as spicy as that, we can barely wait for the 13th.
