Not a cool factor!
Celebrities are washing their dirty linen in public by hitting out against their exes.
When it comes to saying toxic things about their former flames, these celebrities don’t seem to have gotten the memo. From attributing illnesses to leaking private knowledge that was shared confidentially within the annals of their relationships, certain A-listers seem to have forgotten that when it comes to a break up, silence reigns supreme. The Kangana Ranaut-Hrithik Roshan case seems to be making headlines, taking murkier twists as the weeks go by. While one, “silly ex” releases emails that conveniently expose a one-way, delusional conversation, the other has steamy pictures painting a different picture. The breakup starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif wasn’t pretty either. While the Kapoor boy moved out of their Bandra love nest, confirmed their relationship status by having her ousted from the ‘family’ Whatsapp group, rumours are rife that the actress begged his mommy dearest to patch them up. Don’t know where this is coming from.
Down south, Challenging Star Darshan Thogudeepa’s dirty laundry was washed in public multiple times — he was said to have hit his wife and of having an affair, while he recently alleged that his wife has a boyfriend who even crashed his Audi. While the bottom line might be to tell the world that you are hurt, giving you a momentary outpour of sympathy, “It’s always best to sort it behind closed doors. These things happen due to misunderstandings on several levels, so it’s good to clarify it between themselves before going back and forth on facts out in the open,” says psychotherapist Tasneem Nakhoda. “While going through an ugly breakup or while trying to move on, they are already going through enough and they don’t really want it to be discussed. But in most cases, someone who knows them invariably leaks it causing an intensive drama,” she says. At least, there are still men like Virat Kohli who’ll take their girl’s side, whether broken up or not!
