Shahid Kapoor delays babymoon for Batti Gul Meter Chalu and Arjun Reddy
Shahid was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat' which also starred Deepika and Ranveer in lead roles.
Shahid Kapoor is going through one of his best yet tough phases of his life! He wants to dedicate time towards his pregnant wife Mira Rajput, but work calls him at odd times.
A report in Mid-Day states that the actor wanted to go on a babymoon with soon-to-be mommy Mira for a month, but he might not be able to do so now since the shoot of ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ was delayed due to Prernaa Arora.
While Shahid had planned the holiday, it now happens that as he completes the shooting of ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’, he will then move over to his next film ‘Arjun Reddy’ and there are fewer chances that he might get a break to spend time with his family due to the work commitments.
A source told Mid-Day, "Shahid had decided to spend quality time with Mira and Misha [daughter] in June before he begins training for ‘Arjun Reddy’. But now that the ‘Batti Gul’ schedule is likely to run into June, he has called off the trip. He wants to ensure that his commitment to this film doesn't spill over to that of ‘Arjun Reddy’, the shoot of which is lined up for July."
Shahid was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’ which also starred Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in lead roles. DeepVeer, as they are fondly called, are reported to get married in November.
