Roshans fume at Kaabil trailer leak
The producer also speculates that this was probably a professional crime.
Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan and his son Hrithik are totally flabbergasted by the leakage of the trailer of Kaabil, hours before its official release. An outraged Rakesh, who is producing the film, says that he will ensure that the strictest action is taken against the perpetrators.
“We had to quickly change all our plans or the impact of our trailer would have been lost. It was leaked on Tuesday evening at 7 pm and we were supposed to formally release it on Wednesday morning at 10 am. After the leak, we advanced the release and had it up on the Internet at 8 pm on Tuesday night. We know the agencies where our trailer was sent. So it will be not so difficult to track down the perpetrators of this crime. I intend to take the strongest action against the people responsible for the leakage of the trailer,” he says.
The producer also speculates that this was probably a professional crime. “It was a high-definition print of the leaked trailer, which means it was a professional’s job,” he adds.
Despite the attempted sabotage, though, the makers are quite happy with the response that the trailer has received. “Hrithik, Sanjay Gupta (the director of Kaabil) and I are overwhelmed with the positive response to the trailer,” said a relieved Rakesh.
