Ranveer Singh will reunite with his Dil Dhadakne Do director Zoya Akhtar and will act opposite Alia for the first time.
Mumbai: As Padmavati entangled in controversies and the release date been pushed to uncertainty, Ranveer Singh decided to move ahead with his upcoming projects. The actor has finally started prepping for his next film Gully Boy with director Zoya Akhtar. and it looks like Ranveer Singh is surely enjoying his time on the sets of Gully Boy.
Recently YRF posted a video on Twitter in which Ranveer Singh can be seen in his gully rapper avatar having a one-on-one with Mumbai rapper Vivian Fernandes.

Gully Boy brings to the screen the fresh pairing of Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. The film is based on Naezy aka Naved Shaikh, who is a gully rapper from a Kurla slum.
Prior to beginning Gully Boy, Akhtar worked on a 10 episode web series for Amazon Prime starring Shwetha Tripathi, called Made in Heaven. She also finished her short in Bombay Talkies 2.0 featuring Bhumi Pednekar in the lead. Ranveer and Alia will start shooting for Gully Boy from January 2018.
