Sonam Kapoor kicked about lending voice to animated character

Mumbai: Sonam Kapoor, who is reportedly all set to walk down the aisle soon, is working on ‘The Zoya Factor’ with Dulquer Salmaan and ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ with her father Anil Kapoor.

The actress has reportedly also been approached to lend her voice for an animated character, which she is kicked about.

A source from the production unit told Mid-Day, "It was pitched to Sonam Kapoor as a web series, but then underwent changes. She was kicked about it as it has a strong female character driving the narrative, and liked that it gave the message of girl power. She gave her nod almost instantly. This will require at least 20 days of dubbing. This is the first time Sonam will be lending her voice to an animated character."

Initially conceived as an animated series for a leading digital platform, the project has now turned into a Hindi film which is slated to release in mid-2019.
