Juhi Chawla bats for eco-friendly bags

Juhi took the social media platform Twitter to share an interesting video of plastic bags made of vegetable roots.

Mumbai: Apart from being a wonderful actress, Juhi Chawla is also a responsible citizen. The actress, who has in the past expressed her opinion on various environment and health-related subjects, now hopes that we find a replacement for plastic in India.

The 51-year-old actress took the social media platform Twitter to share an interesting video of plastic bags made of vegetable roots. She also wrote, “Bali Island, Indonesia, banned plastic bags from being used and replaced with bags made from vegetable roots. The nice thing about it is that it is 100% biodegradable and melts in water. We hope to see these bags in our country (sic)!”

Juhi was last seen in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga with Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.
