Exclusive: Here's why Ram Gopal Varma is a Rajamouli fanboy

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, known for his critical views, has made an exception for S.S. Rajamouli. Varma believes that the man is a class apart. Ask him if Bollywood can ape Bahubali’s scale, and he says, “These kind of films can’t be made everyday. I don’t think anyone can do it because a film like that requires a tremendous amount of patience, passion and vision. I don’t think anybody other than Rajamouli has that.” Would he ever attempt something as ambitious? “I don’t have what it takes to make a Bahubali,” he admits.

The film’s sequel, Bahubali 2: The Conclusion had a roaring box office opening yesterday.
