Bhumi Pednekar: From actor to environmentalist
The actress says films have a huge influence on people, which is why she would love to do a film about climate change.
Bhumi Pednekar has always been a socially aware person, and has been extremely responsible in terms of picking scripts. The Saand Ki Aankh actress has been pretty vocal about climate change on social media, and has even started a pan-India Climate Warrior campaign to raise awareness about global warming, conservation, and sustainable living.
The actress says films have a huge influence on people, which is why she would love to do a film about climate change. “I want to put this out because I truly believe that films influence society, and I am so passionate about this. I really hope some filmmaker hears me out and he decides to make a film on climate change; I would love to be part of it. Having said that, I have not been offered anything on this yet,” she shares.
Meanwhile, Bhumi is busy promoting her film Pati Patni Aur Woh.
