Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal share fond memories of Sanjay Dutt
Ranbir obviously researched a lot about Sanjay Dutt before getting into the character and how he has nailed it!
Ranbir Kapoor, along with the whole star cast – Paresh Rawal, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Vicky Kaushal, Manisha Koirala and Rajkumar Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and others, unveiled the trailer of ‘Sanju’, in which he plays Sanjay Dutt, at an event today.
The actor obviously researched a lot about Sanjay Dutt before getting into the character and how he has nailed it!
But little would anybody know that Ranbir was following Sanju baba since childhood. Junior Kapoor revealed so at the launch.
“When I was young, I had Sanjay Dutt's poster and today I'm working in his film,” Ranbir recollected.
For Vicky Kaushal, who plays Ranbir Kapoor’s friend in the film, the memories were similar yet different.
He reminisced, “My father was a body double for Sanjay Dutt in a film. So I have those memories.”
For the uninitiated, Vicky Kaushal's father Sham Kaushal is an action director and has worked in various Sanjay Leela Bhansali films including 'Padmaavat'.
