Mumbai: After losing the battle to Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Udta Punjab’ in court, Pahlaj Nihalani headed Central Board of Film Certification is back yet again.

After demanding 89 cuts in Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Udta Punjab’, the CBFC has now asked for over 50 edits in Abhishek Jawkar’s ‘Missing on a Weekend’, a crime thriller set in Goa.

Due to the hassle, the film missed its scheduled release date (June 24), even after submitting the film to the CBFC on June 17.

Reportedly, the CBFC has certified the film but has demanded over 50 cuts. Now the makers plan on making an appeal to the CBFC again.
