With just one day left for the finale of Bigg Boss 12, the game show couldn’t have got more intense. Top five finalists  Deepak Thakur, Sreesanth, Dipika Kakar, Karanvir Bohra and Romil Chaudhary are competing against each other to win the title.

Meanwhile, Sreesanth’s wife, Bhuvneshwari Kumari, who has been rooting for her husband, says that people got to see the true side of her husband. She says, “For me, what’s important was his participation. Throughout the show he came across as a gentleman, which is the real Sreesanth. I think all the contestants who came out from Bigg Boss too told that he is a nice guy and has a big heart. He even has one of the biggest fandoms. So people loved him for what he is and I am happy that people saw the genuine and real Sreesanth on the show.”

While celebrities like Irfan Pathan and Malayalam actress Priyamani Raj have already rooted for Sreesanth, actress and filmmaker Pooja Bhatt is the latest to join the bandwagon. She even posted that the cricketer is like her family.

Talking about Pooja’s support, Bhuvneshwari reciprocates, “Pooja is like my elder sister and we indeed are like one family. Our relationship goes back a long way. She came down to Kerala and we showed our farm and she spent quality time with us. In fact, she was the one who gave us the moral support and confidence during our tough times. Pooja gave him the break to face the camera for the first time in the film, Cabaret.”

Bhuvneshwari adds that she is glad that Cabaret is eventually seeing the light. “When the project happened I was pregnant and could not go there to Mumbai. I remember Pooja telling me, ‘Your husband is not only a cricketer but also a good actor’.”

While commoners Romil Chaudhary and Deepak Thakur have been pulling all stocks, celebs like Sreesanth, Dipika Kakar, Karanvir Vohra are strong contenders for the coveted title. Putting an end to the three months of drama and fights, the Bigg Boss grand finale will be shot on Sunday (December 30).

Bhuvneshwari, who is on her way to watch the finals of the show at the Bigg Boss house in Lonavala is hoping that all her prayers will be answered.
