Padmaavat box office collection: Deepika Padukone starrer stands tall on Tuesday

Mumbai: Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama 'Padmaavat' has emerged victorious as the movie successfully entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club in flat four days. The controversial period film has continued its dream run at the box office by successfully passing the crucial Monday test.

According to Box Office India report, on Tuesday, the film collected of 13.25 crore net which takes its six day total 137.25 crore net. The business is also holding strongly all over with the weakest area over the weekend North India holding up best over the weekdays. The extended first week will go to 160 crore nett apprx with the seven day figures being around 145 crore nett which is the 10th highest collection of all time. This Deepika Padukone starrer will be the fifth highest first week behind films like 'Baahubali - The Conclusion', 'Sultan', 'Tiger Zinda Hai' and 'Dangal' but better than films like 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', 'PK' and 'Dhoom 3'.

The film is doing exceedingly well in the International market, too. Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared the latest figures.
