Salman Khan becomes maamu

Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan and her husband Aayush Sharma welcomed a baby boy into their family on Wednesday morning. The couple, who tied the knot in 2014 in a lavish ceremony in Hyderabad, had made an announcement of the pregnancy during the Ganesh Chathurti festivities last year.

Last month, Salman Khan organised a grand baby shower at a five-star hotel in Mumbai to begin the celebrations leading up to the delivery. The actor, who is currently very busy with the shoot of Sultan, squeezed in some time to shop for his nephew.

A source close to the actor said,  “Despite his hectic schedule, Salman played the devoted maamu and spent the weekend shopping for Ahil. He was very excited to welcome the newest member in the family.”
