Mumbai: Sanjay Dutt, who played a crucial role in 'Dhamaal' and 'Double Dhamaal', has decided to back out of the third installment in the franchise, titled 'Total Dhamaal'.

A source close to the actor has revealed that he has said no to the upcoming installment because he doesn't want his kids to see him in adult comedies.

Moreover, the 57-year-old, who recently finished shooting for his comeback film 'Bhoomi', has his calendar blocked with films like 'Torbaaz', 'Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3' and a collaborative project with actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn.

"The reason for moving out is essentially due to the actor's dates coinciding with other projects. The actor has his calendar blocked until the shoot of the third installment in the 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster' film series, followed by 'Torbaaz'," the source adds.

However, director Indra Kumar issued a clarification stating, "'Total Dhamaal' is a total family entertainer. While the news is true that we have parted amicably with Sanju for the film, I further want to clarify that Riteish is very much a part of the superhit franchise and there is absolutely no adult content in 'Total Dhamaal.' 'Total Dhamaal' is an out and out family entertainer, just like 'Dhamaal' and 'Double Dhamaal'!
