Watch: 'Fans' burst crackers inside theatre during SRK's cameo in ADHM
People from Malegaon, who claim to have been fans, disrupted the film's screening, the moment the actor came on-screen.
Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan, despite of his recently wayward box-office success, is inarguably amongst the biggest stars the country hosts, even today.
But, even that doesn't justify the ridiculous fan revelry that was witnessed in a theatre in Malegaon.
The actor, who has a much publicised cameo in Karan Johar's Ranbir Kapoor-Anushka Sharma-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil,' is virtually returning to the big-screen after his Maneesh Sharma helmed 'Fan,' a film about a besotted sociopathical fan of an established superstar.
Turns out, Malegaon hosts a bunch of such similar characters. Men who claim to have been fans, disrupted a screening of the highly successful Karan Johar directorial, the moment Shah Rukh appeared on-screen, by bursting firecrackers.
A video of the same, which has gone viral on the internet, shows the irreverent delinquency going on for a good few minutes. The crackers were evidently potent enough to have brought down the entire theatre, if it were to continue, but better sense seemed to have prevailed with the authorities, as they stopped screening the film, altogether.

A similar incident had also happened in Malegaon back, circa Diwali, 2015, when SRK's 'Dilwale' had released and fans made merry in the theatre, bursting firecrackers by a few dozens. Authorities had to stop the show and call the cops back then, as well.
Another video has also surfaced, that shows panicky people in the theatre scurrying out the moment the crackers light up, out of fear for their life.
Well, it remains to be seen whether the miscreants were actual fans of the much adored actor, or just hooligans intentionally disrupting the screening of the movie.
