‘Arhaan is honing his skills in different spheres of filmmaking’

The ‘Khan-daan’ is noted for supporting friends in their ventures, and in keeping with this principle, Arbaaz Khan made time to attend the launch of a new web series, Can’t Kill Me, and the release of the poster for film song Banarasi Paan at Samir Malik’s production house 20 One Entertainment.
Explaining his presence at the event, Arbaaz Khan said Sameer Malik and he were close friends. “We all started as newcomers and therefore we believe in encouraging people who are starting their own ventures. They are in the same line so we need to come forward in their support wholeheartedly,” he added.
Talking about his own projects, he said, “On the acting front there is one web show which has turned out well and will be releasing very soon. I’m in the second season, not a very big part. Apart from that, I’m working on two more films, yet untitled, which will go on the floors soon. I’m also working on two Hindi films under my own production house. One script has been completed. It will be ready for production probably at the end of this year or the beginning of the next.
Noting that his son Arhaan hosted his podcast titled Dumb Biryani, we asked which sphere of filmmaking he was interested in. “Without an iota of doubt, he is set to join the world of glitz and glamour,” said Arbaaz. “Right now, he is just developing himself and honing his skills in different spheres of filmmaking. He is also working on himself, especially, on his physical appearance. Working on his diction too. Probably, he will foray into acting. But I feel there is still a little time for him to decide.”
