Brahmani turned down acting offer from Mani Ratnam for business
Legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam, known for working with Bollywood stars like Aishwarya Rai, Manisha Koirala, Tabu, and Aditi Rao Hydari, once offered a lead role to Nara Brahmani, the eldest daughter of Nandamuri Balakrishna. Balakrishna shared this interesting tidbit on his talk show, "Unstoppable with NBK," revealing that Brahmani declined the offer.
He explained that Brahmani, who had no interest in acting, always aspired to be a businesswoman. Following her marriage, she focused on expanding Heritage Foods, a company she helped develop.
Balakrishna has always supported his children in their chosen fields. While his youngest daughter, Tejaswini Nandamuri Mathukumilli, works as a creative consultant for the NBK show and co-produces her brother Mokshagna Teja’s debut film, Brahmani pursued entrepreneurial success. Among his children, Mokshagna and Tejaswini entered the film industry, while Brahmani excelled in business.
