Devara makers eye Rs 100 cr from AP/TG?

Realising the rising popularity for their action adventure ‘Devara’, the makers are reportedly looking to sell their film for over Rs 100 crores in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. “NTR’s popularity is at its peak and he is doing an anger-driven role in ‘Devara’. It has enough potential to strike a chord with masses so distributors are holding negotiations,” says a distributor, who adds, “NTR teaming up with director Koratala Siva is also a value addition since their earlier movie ‘Janatha Garage’ rocked the box office in Telugu states,” he adds.
With Prabhas films ‘Salaar’ and ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ drawing great openings and good collections in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, superstar NTR jr would also be planning to deliver a money-spinner and sustain his superstardom. “Blockbuster 'RRR' took NTR to the peaks and his performance and action episodes won him huge following worldwide. It is expected to do well in Hindi belt as well as in US and other oveases cities,” he points out.
NTR teaming up with Bollywood diva Janhvi Kapoor is also triggering curiously around the magnum opus and it would be a refreshing pairing in recent times. “NTR and Janhvi's onscreen chemistry is going to give a fillip to the romantic angle in this action saga and could woo the young generation audience in big numbers,” he concludes.
